THE APERITIVES
Apéritifs classiques: Here are the classic aperitifs:
Ricard: it is an alcohol (40°- Marseille : 45°) flavoured with anise, star anise and liquorice (réglisse)
Kir: blackcurrant cream and Burgundy Aligoté (dry white wine)
Marsala: is a fortified wine with denomination of origin product (DOC) in Italy; produced in the town Marsala, in Sicily (Sicile)
Martini rosso: sweet taste and slightly bitter
Martini bianco: the taste is less bitter and more refined than the rosso
Floc de gascogne: liquor wine from the south west, made from grapes juice and Armagnac (AOC since 1990)
Porto: is a Portuguese fortified wine
Suze: a bitter gentian golden color liquor, 15°, made from macerated aromatic plants; gentian: 50% wild roots
Maury: is a naturally sweet wine of AOC product around Maury, small village in the Pyrenees Orientales
Les cocktails- THE COCKTAILS
Dry martini: contains vermouth dry, gin and lemon zest
Pina colada: contains coconut cream with rum and pineapple juice
Mojito: contains lime juice, a teaspoon of sugar, Cuban rum, angostura bitter and soda
Caipirina: contains half lime cut into quarters, spoon of sugar and cachaça, the Brazilian derived rum
Bronx: contains orange juice: dry vermouth, red vermouth and gin
